What’s New from Binary Tree for August 2020

New from Binary Tree August 2020

Each month, we publish our “What’s New” blog series to give a snapshot into the exciting developments in our solution over the last month.  You can also sign up to receive product release notifications, here.

This past month's releases center on automation and efficiency enhancements to Power365® Tenant-to-Tenant , building on the recent release of the Power365 Migration Free Trial and Self-Service option.

In July, we announced that our faster tenant discovery processes resulted in a 50% reduction in time spent in project configuration and setup.  And now, we have made that discovery process even faster, with enhanced performance in discovery for large tenant environments.  With as much as 30% additional time savings, the performance improvements over the last two months make Power365’s discovery a breeze – giving you that time back to focus on other activities.  Improved discovery, without sacrificing accuracy, means projects can start faster, decreasing your time from project start to completion.

Desktop Setup Pro, also unveiled last month, has improved automation to help expedite configuration and migration for users with multiple profiles, allowing end users to have minimal interference in the migration, configuration, and cutover processes.

And for administrators, additional time will be saved in both managing actions and in OneDrive for Business cutovers.  Power365 now has simple, one-click action descriptions throughout the Actions menu, reducing the burden to need to use Help Documentation for reference.  When doing OneDrive migrations, the cutover process has been improved to ensure the Mailbox and OneDrive migration workloads are running in parallel, regardless of the migration profile settings, helping to ensure streamlined, maximum-velocity migrations.
