Role Description

The Cloud Enablement Consultant is responsible for engaging and implementing the managed service offers (MSOs) for our customers under the direction of the Senior Director, Global Managed Services.  The candidate will work hand in hand with the management to establish and evangelize the Cloud Services Center (CSC) at both strategic and tactical levels across the firm.  The candidate will engage with Department Managers, product managers, technical leads, strategic and channel partners, to delineate and define the value proposition for the CSC and to design, engineer, implement and support the emerging CSC model.  This is a demanding hands-on consultant position with a focus on delivering best in class “configurable but not customizable” CSC services and customer experiences embedded within the MSOs.  The primary technical scope of this position includes Microsoft managed cloud technologies such as Office 365 and Azure, but may also include other cloud technologies and services, as well as Binary Tree core products and services, as defined by the underlying MSOs and by client and/or partner requirements.

The candidate is responsible for end-to-end procedural and technical provision of all CSC managed service offerings – from inception to production implementation, ongoing operations, continuous service improvement initiatives, and service transition and retirement initiatives when appropriate.  This role works collaboratively across both internal and external clients and partners using emerging and established feedback mechanisms to drive new business and drive additional enablement for existing customers, and therefore requires a good mix of soft and hard skill sets along with proven interpersonal skills.

The candidate helps ensure that all applicable stakeholders across the firm are intimately involved in all aspects of the CSC and that all internal clients and partners are educated properly to enable all departments to utilize cloud Enablement consultants to meet their business goals, and to evangelize MSOs and the CSC whenever possible.

This position must pivot between multiple audiences and stakeholders, different locations, various methods of service development and service delivery, leveraging business relationship management to promote development of client relationships and MSOs.

Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a significant background providing professional consulting services, be a relationship and consensus builder, innovator, technology and thought leader, delivering turnkey cloud consultancy solutions and services that maximize revenue generation and client satisfaction.  Additionally, the candidate will partner with other Binary Tree innovators to define new strategic paths to increase the scope of the cloud consultancy and global managed services development opportunities while promoting cloud consulting best practices, placing particular emphasis on services automation, and service delivery scalability via process industrialization.

Candidate will act as a change agent, able to drive innovation, and drive development and implementation of best in class services, associated automation processes and methodologies, tools and products to deliver an emerging framework that promotes Binary Tree’s continued excellence in managed services delivery and demonstrates our depth of knowledge.
