CMT for Domains: Configuration Specifications CMT for Domains: Configuration Specifications Configuration Specifications

Prerequisites to Run CMT for Domains™

CMT for Domains is delivered as a Lotus Notes Database Template, which can be placed on any Domino Server and from which the CMT for Domains Database will be created. Just as with any other third-party Lotus Notes Database, several decisions need to be made prior to installing CMT for Domains:

  • Identify a Domino Server, on which CMT for Domains Template and Database will reside. CMT for Domains can be deployed on any Domino Server of any version on any platform.

  • Identify the Path and the Title of the CMT for Domains database on the Domino Server.

  • Identify a User or a Server ID, with which the Template – and subsequently Database- will be signed. All documents in the template should be signed with a standard application signer ID, which is also defined in the Domino Directory and end-users’ ECLs.

As part of installation, CMT for Domains installs a small number of Binary files (.dlls) in the Program and Data Directories of each Workstation from which it is administered or operated.

Please Note, CMT for Domains can only be administered from a Windows-based Lotus Notes Client.
