Identify applications that match standard Lotus Notes templates
CMT for SharePoint can quickly catalog your Lotus Notes applications and identify those that can be migrated to a functional equivalent in SharePoint. SharePoint has standard templates that closely match key Lotus Notes templates in both design and functionality, so the migration effort will only require content migration. CMT for SharePoint’s exclusive use of CMT Inspector's DNA Analysis functionality can even tell you ‘how closely your application matches one of the standard Notes templates’, so you can migrate applications that started off from a standard Notes template design. Minor customizations on the destination SharePoint application will then replicate the desired application functionality.
Migrate standard template-based Lotus Notes applications to SharePoint
Migrate content from document libraries, discussion databases, TeamRoom and QuickPlace applications to default SharePoint templates, custom templates from Binary Tree, or your own templates. CMT for SharePoint migrates Lotus Notes content types that include text, HTML rich text, documents, attachments, document links, and URL links, as well as application and document level security, to Microsoft SharePoint.
Migrate non-standard Lotus Notes applications to SharePoint
CMT for SharePoint has a powerful and flexible field mapping interface that enables you to easily map data fields from a Notes application to a SharePoint site or list. The field mapping feature also has powerful Data Transformation Engine (DTE), that enables the modification of data (concat two fields, remove text, change formatting...) during migration.
Process migrations with a simple user interface and powerful workload distribution
With central administration and easy-to-use dashboards, there are multiple ways to select the data to be migrated, filter content, select the target SharePoint site or list, and schedule the migrations. Multiple migrations can be run at the same time on one workstation with the powerful multi-threading capabilities and for more power, harness the capabilities of Automated Workload Distribution (AWD) technology, the multi-machine option for scalable and manageable migration farms. You can open your new SharePoint sites as soon as the migration completes and user resolution takes place automatically.
Track your progress with flexible migration reporting capabilities
CMT for SharePoint provides migration status and statistics, detailed logging and error reporting. CMT for SharePoint can access all of the application code / design element details from SQL tables. CMT for SharePoint's rules repository can instantiate new transformation rules based on application dependencies, workflow logic, and common code and designs. Create custom filters for reports and run the reports on SQL Server Report Server.

New Features in CMT for SharePoint
CMT for SharePoint now supports migration from Lotus Notes to Microsoft 2007 and 2010. CMT for SharePoint now provides migration support for Notes application document links. Document links are now stored in a SQL Server database table for source to target applications migrations with the ability to synchronize past SharePoint application transitions to new SharePoint sites. Additional features are the ability to transform Notes Document database HTML rich text document records to standard HTML documents or to Microsoft Word 2007 / 2010 documents in SharePoint. Lastly CMT for SharePoint supports the feature of “document sets.” Document Sets is a new feature in SharePoint 2010 that help users organize multi-document worksets. Document sets are components, similar to folders, which enable users to collaborate on related documents without having to create a new document library or site. CMT for SharePoint will provide the Document Sets feature to migrate Notes documents with like metadata. CMT for SharePoint will transform those documents to a SharePoint web part page called a welcome page that displays all the related content of documents.
