The Challenges of Upgrading from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010
Date: Friday, November 5, 2010 Time: 12:00 p.m. (Noon) ET
With the arrival of Exchange 2010 Service Pack 1, enterprises are accelerating their project planning sessions to upgrade to Microsoft’s latest messaging platform. While the benefits of doing so are easy enough to find, the pitfalls and challenges in successfully integrating a mix of Exchange 2003, 2007 & 2010, before the eventual dismissal of the legacy platforms, is less clear.
In this session, we will review the planning and deployment questions you should be considering in your project planning. From upgrading externally-facing mail gateways, discussing the optimal way of configuring your SSL certificates, integrating your Outlook Web App front ends, and executing the eventual transition of your mailboxes to their new host, this session will consolidate the information you need to ensure a smooth upgrade for your end users.
