NEWARK, NJ – September 21, 2010 – Binary Tree, the world’s leading provider of cross-platform messaging migration and coexistence solutions, announced today that it has opened new offices in Stockholm, Sweden and Singapore and hired a new General Manager for the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) region. These moves have been made to meet the overwhelming demand for its leading CMT Suite of email migration software products in the European, Asia Pacific, and Japanese (APACJ) markets. The new offices represent the next step in Binary Tree’s ongoing global growth strategy and join their already successful United Kingdom office that opened in 2009.
Stefan af Bjur joins Binary Tree’s senior management team as General Manager for EMEA. Together with the current European staff, Stefan will execute Binary Tree’s growth strategy in the EMEA region. Prior to joining Binary Tree, Stefan was part of Microsoft’s Worldwide IBM, Google, and Open Office Compete Team where his main responsibility was to help Microsoft win deals. His other responsibilities included educating and influencing customers, partners, and sales resources around the world. Also, Stefan co-founded and ran two companies and his entrepreneurial drive and subject matter expertise make him a perfect addition to the Binary Tree team.
"This is a major milestone for Binary Tree," said Steven Pivnik, CEO of Binary Tree. "Our Stockholm and Singapore offices will not only support Binary Tree’s rapidly growing sales and customer base, they will also act as strategic partner development centers and will provide sales and support services to the European and APACJ markets. We anticipate a continued upward trend in the number of projects and new opportunities through our growing international presence."
